Maureen is incredible, both as a Reflexologist and someone to spend time with.  I was sent her way by my Chiropractor toward the end of my pregnancy, as another means of natural labor induction.  Maureen quickly became an integral part of my birth team.  I saw her a few times to help keep myself and the baby calm, to encourage progress and finally, a little more intensive work, to tell baby "we were ready" the day before I went into labor.  She checked on me frequently between visits and I mentioned to my husband a few times, how wonderful it felt to have such a supportive person on our team, invested in our wellbeing and labor progress.  I will definitely be seeing Maureen again, and I highly recommend her to everyone!

When I first messaged Maureen about a reflexology session to induce labor, she was in the UK.  When she returned to the States, she reached out to me to see if I was still in need of her assistance.  Being 5 days past my due date, I sprung at the opportunity.  I was anxious at first, thinking it would be a painful session.  She calmed my nerves and immediately could tell how my daughter was positioned in the womb upon inspecting my feet.  She spent an hour relaxing me and then about 30 minutes stimulating pressure points associated with delivery.  She also provided me with a relaxing essential oil blend to place inside my shirt to smell whilst in labor, which really helped.  Maureen instructed my husband in guided breathing to assist me and also showed him pressure points to perform on me to relieve pain.  I delivered my daughter naturally 72 hours after she performed reflexology on me.  This was such a special experience and one I will treasure forever.

At 37 weeks pregnant with my third baby (and first attempt at VBAC), I reached out to Maureen in hopes to prepare my mind and body for labor and delivery through reflexology.  I had never done it before and I honestly knew very little about it.  But, from the minute she responded to initial questions on her website, to setting up our first session, and officially meeting via our first 90+ minute session, I was intrigued.  I left our first encounter so relaxed and my baby seemed the same.  From then and until delivery day, we met, to help encourage my body to begin its natural labor process as well as to stimulate my baby to begin descending.  Each session Maureen worked her magic and I felt beyond cared for.  I would totally recommend reflexology to anyone preparing for birth but also to just reset the body.  She genuinely cares for her clients and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and at peace.
